Bernell K. Ingram is owner, professional coach, language and intercultural trainer of Visions International, a professional coaching practice partnering with corporations, global executives, entrepreneurs, professionals, non-profit and Christian organizations. Bernell partners with her clients to help them add strategy to their passion™ and exercise best practices of communicating and relating in an intercultural environment.
Bernell embraces her client’s vision as her own and offers proactive services customized to fit their needs. Bernell draws from her experience in business development, entrepreneurship, project management, strategic planning and non-profit and ministry program development to lead clients from discovery to living their vision. A system of accountability and encouragement ensures focus, progress, and sound judgment in decision making. Clients develop their leadership qualities, set goals, and implement strategic plans to make their vision a reality in their family, career, business, ministry and life. Services are offered through one-on-one coaching sessions, workshops, conferences, motivational speaking/teaching and print medium.
Visions International also offers corporate and private intercultural, English and Japanese training. Bernell has equipped managers and global executives of Michelin North America, JTEKT Automotive, NICCA USA, Yazaki Corporation, BMW, Spartanburg Stainless Steel and other global corporations of Mexico, South America and Germany. Bernell’s love for languages and cultures has lead her as far as Japan where she studied abroad and lived with a host family in Shizuoka, Japan – home of the beautiful Mt. Fuji, Canada and Mexico.
Bernell was recognized by Clemson World Magazine as a Clemson Women Firsts when she became the first Clemson student to graduate with a Language and International Trade Degree with a concentration in Japanese. This recognition also led to Bernell being honored as an Upstate, South Carolina Black History Maker by radio station 107.3 WJMZ. Bernell has been featured in “GSA Business”, "The Greenville News" and "CHIC Magazine". Bernell was also nominated and featured in “Greenville Magazine's” Best & Brightest 35 and Under Class of 2007. Clemson University Women’s Leadership presented Bernell the “Gone the Distance” Award for fostering leadership in her daily life and helping others step out as leaders.
Bernell is also a graduate of Coach U, Inc., a world renowned coach training institute, and pursuing professional coach certification with the International Coach Federation (ICF).
In 2007, Visions International was awarded a contract by the South Carolina Women Business Center (SCWBC) to offer business development coaching, consulting and training to start-up and existing businesses in the six counties of the Appalachian Region of Upstate, South Carolina.
Bernell authored "The Visionary’s Guide to Small Business Development" and offers companion workshops to guide small business owners through each step of engineering a business vision.
Bernell is a member of Water of Life Christian Church and has served in leadership for eight years. Bernell has traversed and transcended denominational, sectarian and cultural lines and barriers to equip church leaders, lay people and Christian business owners in living their vision, marketplace ministry, ministry/business development and strategic planning for their life, ministry and business.
